FAO/CFC Tropical and citrus fruits Workshop held in Guangzhou, China |

The FAO/CFC Workshop on Opportunities and Challenges in the World Markets for Citrus Fruits and Tropical Products hosted by Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre of the Ministry of Agriculture, China was held in Guangzhou from 29 November to 1 December 2007. Approximate 40 participants from FAO, CFC, and 20 countries in Africa, Asian and Pacific, Southern American and Europe were present at the workshop.
The medium term trade projections of banana, citrus and tropical fruits were released by FAO, and current market situation and challenges facing different countries referring to these fruits were discussed during the workshop.
